Academic ServicesSupport Program EAL/ESL/ESOL

Fostering and supporting English language proficiency.

Our program, taught by current international school teachers, balances and supports the four language skills of reading and writing, and speaking and listening in order to develop ability and build confidence.

Program Features

01:Fast-tracking of ‘EAL Exit’

Effective scaffolding and support
Students receive targeted instruction to build strong English proficiency across reading, writing, listening, and speaking, enabling them to exit the EAL program and join mainstream classes.

02:Individualised support

Student-centric
While upholding academic standards, especially EAL program exit criteria, the primary emphasis remains on nurturing each student’s unique skill development.

03:Conceptual Learning

Conceptual understanding-based learning
Building strong conceptual understanding equips our students with transferable learning and language skills for success across the mainstream curriculum.

04:Direct school connection

Dual support system
Direct links to the school, particularly its EAL department, provide targeted support for each student’s unique education plan.

05:Learning beyond the EAL exit

Student and parent support
Students have weekly online lessons, as well as homework and question support outside of lesson times, and parents are provided with 24/7 Email support.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have compiled common questions received from inquiries.

Who is this program recommended for?

It is recommended for students attending international school who are in ESL/ESOL/EAL classes and aim to improve their English or complete the program early (Year 3/G4 to Year 10/G11). It is particularly effective for those who find it difficult to keep up with school lessons, are struggling to improve grades, or have concerns about promotion and future paths.

How long does it take to see results from the program?

It varies by individual, but many students often notice improvements in English ability and grades within about 3 months. However, for early program completion, continuous enrollment (6 months or more) is recommended.

Can I choose the time slot for online lessons?

Yes, we can adjust the schedule according to your child’s school schedule and family circumstances. Please let us know your preferred time during the initial consultation.

How exactly do you coordinate with the school teachers?

With parental consent, we coordinate with your child’s ESL/ESOL/EAL teacher or subject teachers, sharing lesson progress and assignments. This enables effective support aligned with the school curriculum.

When are additional lessons necessary?

Please use them when you want intensive study, such as before regular tests or ESL/ESOL/EAL completion exams. They are also recommended for focusing on overcoming specific weak areas.

Can I cancel the program mid-contract?

Contracts are for 3-month terms. If you wish to cancel, please contact us by one month before the end of the current contract period.

What payment methods are available?

Payment is possible by bank transfer. Details will be provided after application.

What specifically is “Special Support”?

For students requiring considerations for learning disabilities (LD) or developmental needs, we provide customized learning plans and coordination with specialists. We assess the necessity after the initial consultation and propose the fees and content.

How quickly can I expect a response to email support?

We typically respond within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). For urgent matters, please contact us separately.
